Yes, it’s that time again—the time when I make my pitch for you to attend the annual F&I Conference. This year the conference will be held from September 16th through the 18th at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. For those of you who like Las Vegas this can be a nice combination of work/play that you can share with your co-workers, thereby dispelling the myth that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, at least with regard to the F&I Conference. For those of you, like me, who would rather go back to hand writing finance contracts than travel to Las Vegas, it’s still well worth the time and effort. You just cannot get the amount of experience, knowledge, education, and empathy in any other single place. You will return to your position armed with tools, motivation, and determination to succeed beyond the goals that you have set for yourself.

The Keynote Speakers alone are well worth hearing. They include David Westcott, Chairman of the N.A.D.A. He will speak on preserving the benefits of the indirect financing model. Jim Tunney is also a speaking. He is an Educator and former NFL Referee who’s motivational and entertaining message is titled “It’s The Will Not The Skill.” In addition to other speakers, there will also be several round table discussions and focus groups where you can listen to multiple expert opinions and ask questions that are relevant to your situation. Some of these discussions are: Tech That Sells; Logical Conversational Selling, 7 Secrets to Influence Sales With Integrity, Sales Props and the Word Tracks That Drive Them; Raiders of the Lost Profit; and Using Disclosures to Your Advantage. To see the entire agenda, log onto www.fi-conference.com. The site will also allow you to register in four ways: Fax, phone, mail and on-line. You will need to schedule your flight on our own and can reserve your room through the registration site, or simply use your own method of reserving a room either at Paris or any other hotel in the area. Just remember that all of the activities are held at the Paris Hotel. The cost to register not only gets you into all of the speakers and groups you want to attend, it also gets you access to the Exhibition Hall where vendors have booths set up. More importantly, the Exhibition Hall is also where breakfast, lunch, and end-of-day receptions are held. Although I try through this newsletter to give you as much information as possible, nothing can beat being in attendance yourself. As always, if you have any questions on the conference, please let me or your Jeram Marketing Representative know and we will do our best to answer them for you. I hope to see you in Las Vegas!
