Some things to keep in mind when you and your dealer decide to
introduce your products on the dealership website:
• It is important to have one process for all customers—online
and onsite since the majority start the process online, but still
finish it onsite at the dealership.
• Maintain a business document rule—In other words don’t let
the site look or have the feel of a video game—keep it
professional looking.
• Extend the process beyond the delivery and throughout
ownership using phone applications to maintain the connection
between the dealership and the customer.
• The site should be easy to navigate so the customer can easily
move around, finding features, qualifications, and even pricing and
processes such as claims procedures.
• Update the site frequently with fresh information.
